01 · Open Academy and choose a pathway

The web edition requires no account. The new entry retains the Academy 1.3.1 engine and content; the 31 October 2026 presentation revision improves navigation, help and mobile readability.

  1. Open Academy and select Open the investigation. Use Español / English on the website or ES / EN inside the application.
  2. Research connects 12 stages of one case. Doctoral groups labelled activities and cases. Lesson lets you study a specific question within the 24 modules.
  3. Use Numeric workshop, Derivations, Methods and 81 slides according to your goal. The method catalogue explains scope: it does not run every listed record.

Scope and limitation: Opening a view neither turns a simulation into an experiment nor updates a saved scientific result.

02 · Website, Online Lab and Academy without losing your place

The header provides shared navigation, including on mobile. Cross-application links open in a new tab to retain the current session.

  1. On a narrow screen open Platform: Website, Online Lab, About Academy, Complete guide and Windows + Beatrix remain accessible. Desktop layouts show these links directly.
  2. Help opens a short guide inside Academy. Close it with × or Escape: it does not change the view, stage, module or notes.
  3. Switching ES/EN retains the pathway and current context. The Lessons index changes modules outside Research; changing module is not the same as changing stage in the continuous case.
  4. Before closing a tab or changing device, export work from the workspace you use. Opening another application does not automatically transfer its data.

Scope and limitation: A new tab retains the previous one, but is neither a backup nor cross-device synchronization.

03 · Research: from question to evidence

The continuous pathway keeps decisions connected and retains case context. Changing a stage may invalidate dependent results, as the interface indicates.

  1. Start under The question. Read case preparation, objective and assumptions before choosing parameters.
  2. Follow Calibrate → Design → Acquire → Process → Interpret. Check units, encoding, observed data and residuals, not just the recovered curve.
  3. Under Uncertainty, identify which estimator each interval describes. Monte Carlo sensitivity of the reference monoexponential fit is not automatically uncertainty of an ILT centroid or distribution.
  4. Under Next measurement, state a prediction before viewing the held-out control. Real-data cases retain the plan without inventing nonexistent acquisitions.
  5. RF + space explores spatial encoding; Competencies and Defence and review retain reasoning and evidence. Export the portfolio using its controls before closing.

Scope and limitation: A good prediction or a software check establishes neither a new real acquisition, measured educational efficacy nor universal identifiability.

04 · Public data and simulations: know which you are using

Virtual cases and experimental files have different labels and provenance. Their conclusions must not be conflated.

  1. Under Public data, review attribution, source, licence, manifest and warnings before selecting a series. Check the file and acquisition identified in context.
  2. Explore signals and controls within the available scope. If retained data cannot support an operation, retain its limitation; do not replace a real signal with a simulated one.
  3. In Laboratory and virtual cases, change one parameter at a time and compare the known and recovered values. Examples and counterexamples are teaching tools, not new calibrations.

Scope and limitation: Attribution of real data does not itself validate the applied method. Absolute values depend on encoding, calibration, conditions and model.

05 · Doctoral, derivations and sources

Use advanced pathways to state a prediction, justify it and compare it with labelled evidence.

  1. Under Doctoral, choose an activity or case and read its description and limitations before calculating. Retain your explanation with the decisions, not only a final number.
  2. Under Derivations, choose a chapter. Review assumptions, symbols, steps and notation notes; coverage links identify source material.
  3. Under 81 slides, search by title or text and open an image to read context and notes. The original workshop is in English even when navigation is Spanish.

Scope and limitation: A rendered equation and a correct answer replace neither physical-assumption review nor human assessment of an argument.

06 · Numeric workshop and laboratory

Interactive controls let you study causes, limitations and counterexamples without operating a spectrometer.

  1. In Numeric workshop, choose pulse, gradient, design, convection or ILT. Read units and declared scope, change fields and select Calculate and compare.
  2. Changing a parameter invalidates the earlier output until recalculation. Export synthetic calculation retains parameters, result and assumptions for that run.
  3. In Laboratory, open the lesson example and review which parameters the scene accepts. Expand laboratory increases plot space; it does not change its model. Academy’s 17 scenes and the platform Online Lab are distinct workspaces.

Scope and limitation: The ILT workshop illustrates conditioning: it neither runs every catalogue algorithm nor turns graphical resolution into experimental information.

07 · Save, export and reopen carefully

The browser retains local work when storage is available. No web account automatically synchronizes this data.

  1. Write notes in Notebook; they are stored by module in this browser. Export this lesson and Export all my work create explicit copies of notebook and progress.
  2. Research has its own portfolio and export/import controls. Use that workspace’s format: it does not automatically import notebook JSON. Retain the original file before importing another.
  3. If storage is blocked or full, export before closing. Do not erase browser data or use Clear as a fix, and do not assume a private tab will retain work.
  4. On reopening, check language, module/view, case and evidence. Local data belongs to the web origin and browser profile, not just the page folder.

Scope and limitation: Retaining the storage key preserves compatibility, but cannot guarantee recovery if data is erased, the origin changes or the browser blocks saving.

08 · Web documentary guidance and local Beatrix

The browser edition runs no LLM on the PHP host. The Windows edition includes a local tutor and context-bound safeguards.

  1. On the web, use reviewed hints and sources and check the answer against case data. Documentary guidance is not presented as a new local-model inference.
  2. For local Beatrix, download Windows + Beatrix from Academy. Extract the complete package; engine, content and model files are part of the verified release.
  3. Review the answer label, sources and context. If the case, stage, question or calculation changes, do not attribute an earlier answer to the new context.

Scope and limitation: Neither tutor nor help changes deterministic calculations by itself. Answers require review; error-free responses to every question are not guaranteed.

09 · Small screens and keyboard

Shared controls remain available without hiding platform access. Figures retain their data and proportions.

  1. On mobile, use Platform for cross-application links and Lessons for the index. Swipe views and Research stages horizontally if they do not fit in one row.
  2. Tab and Shift+Tab move through controls; Escape closes the index, shared menu or help. Closing returns focus to the opening button. Views activate as buttons, without pretending to use a tab pattern that requires different keyboard behaviour.
  3. Use browser zoom or rotate the device for more space. Wide formulae and tables can scroll internally. Curves are not cropped to make them fit.

Scope and limitation: These improvements and checks do not constitute global accessibility certification of every content item or device.

10 · If content fails to load or is not retained

Distinguish navigation, resource and storage problems before changing the session.

  1. First retain an export if the application responds. Record the view, language and message without publishing personal notes or data.
  2. If the course could not open, check connectivity and JavaScript permissions, then reopen Academy from its product page. The complete guide can be read without JavaScript.
  3. If local space is unavailable, export; do not automatically reset or erase. If an imported file is incompatible, retain the original and check the format/version required by that workspace.
  4. Consult complete manuals and Academy 1.3.1 sources from the product page. Report the problem with reproducible steps, not a claim of scientifically validated output.

Scope and limitation: This guide cannot recover work that no longer exists and does not automatically change projects, standards, models or results.
